Mission Statement I am a hardworking Applied Sociologist with a minor in biology. I will use my understanding of behavior and patterns to incorporate all the education and practice I have received throughout my school career and apply it to real world situations within a professional office environment. Carrying with me social, data retrieval, and listening skills, I will fit into a position of helpfulness to the organization. I want to continue to grow and help spread understanding to individuals in a respectful and courteous manner.

My Internship
I have interned in the Office of Disability Services under the Student Diversity and Inclusion Department for Texas State University. During this time I participated in the day to day activities of running the office, as well learning all of the positions available or held within the ODS department. I was given an inside look into the case management system and asked to run a benchmark report evaluating the effectiveness of our programs. I participated in many outreach events, which i have included in the "My Work" tab above. I am a quick learner who is adaptable to many different areas of work such as data entry, report writing, and outreach events. I seek to learn and to help others learn all there is to know to help be better prepared for life situations. I have experience in programs such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and IBM’s SPSS data program.
